What is the ‘Fear of God’? Why is it important? The Bible says, Christians must have reverential fear; a mystery for some, but it’s God’s desire we find it, and live in its wisdom for strong mature faith. It’s a deep reverential love, as God’s character grows in you. This faith in Jesus gives you true safety, wisdom, hope, love and grace, with a humility and trust in the Lord for everything. It’s not an easy road leading to life, but in a mature fear of the Lord you find power to affect the world. Many Christians don’t understand this.
