Wilderness: Jesus Christ walked the highway of heat. You want to be like Him? You also will taste wilderness in life, as you follow the Holy Spirit, led by Him (Romans 8). Heat will prepare you for purpose like nothing else. In the test, Jesus always spoke truth. He didn’t complain about heat, hunger, or what he could be doing. When your heat burns, your faith response in trials, tests, temptations and adversity, will give you overcoming strength to reach the other side of dirt and dust. The road of heat will accelerate trust, growth, wisdom and power; right response is imperative. I’ve been there. Discover this truth; the real Jesus in you will always be tested. Learn Jesus’ response. In it, you are not condemned, but always ‘well pleased’ in God’s heart, just like Jesus (Matt 3:17). He will ‘make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.’ (1Corinth 10:13). There’s always a way through; in it you develop core strength and character to endure anything, as you learn the art of responding in God’s ways.
